I am looking for my relatives in Ukraine (former Bessarabia).
My grandfather was called Simion Cramcianinov and lived in a place called Nicolaevca, near the Belgorod-Dnestrovsky region, before he went to Brazil in 1926. He was born in 1906.
I am looking for information about him or anyone related to him. I would like to know too if is possible to get his Birth Certificate or similar document.

Thank you

Records can be requested below. Communicating in Ukrainian or Russian is ideal. There is no prepayment. They will check to see what is available and communicate w/you in Ukrainian. They will provide you w/a general idea as to what is available and what the cost of documentation copies would be. They will also provide you w/instructions for payment.
Make you inquiry as simple as possible. Provide them with what you know.

Thank you Hannia for the information. I will try to contact
the State Archive of Odesa Oblast in order to achieve something about my grandfather. My big problem is the language : I don't speak Ukrainian or Russian.

Contact Vitalij's wife, Iryna. She is experienced in writing Archives and Village Mayors. Rates for translation are very reasonable. vivandr@brandeis.edu . For Odessa Oblast Archives, have her use the E-Mail address. That will expedite time.
