Unbreakable,
What information is contained in these records?
Does it indicate where families were relocated?
Does it cover all of Lemkivschyna?
There are many Lemko descendants looking for surviving family!

- Record contains full names and d.o.b. of all the members relocated family, year (1946), address (village) in Lemkivschyna, but only name of the region (Ternopilskyj in my case) - not mentioning district or village (but not sure about other records).

Also there is info about posessions left in homeland - land (exact number in hectares), all buildings (m2) (even well mentioned!), and - estimated price of it all in karbovanets (=soviet rubles).

In the summer of 2004 - some comission in Lviv was collecting records alike - becouse it was tald that Poland after joining EU should pay compensations for relocated people.
But nothing more was heard after (however - my Father still is planning - how to spend expected money ).
Anyway he's got some privileges here as repressed Ukrainian (free public transport, intercity buses and trains, 50% discount on gas, electricity etc).

But seems to me that in archives should be records of the people resettled only to Ukraine. But I may go to Archives and check - next week.

Also people interested in genealogy researches (mr Czubak!) should know that these Archives services are chargeable - and prices increased significantly.
For example - I've got here Order of State Archive Committee n.109 of 8.04.2003 - "... etc etc - about service prices".
- so - price of genealogical inquiry about 1 person (records about birth, marriage, death) is 136.81uah (=$27).

Of course - if I find any info in Net or books - I'll send it to people interested.
