Question Jaworski in Tarnopol oblast

I am researching about my ukrainian family. Looking for information about my grand-mother Maria JAWORSKA born ca 1902 in Kurniki Szlachcinieckie, Tarnopol oblast.
Is the name of this town correct. Where is it possible to ask for a copy of her birth certificate.
Thanks
LDJ

During Grandmother's time frame, Kurniki Szlachcinieckie was an estate. Tarnopol (Pol name, today Ternopil Ukr name) was both the administrative and judicial/tax district for the estate. The filial Roman Catholic Church was in Lozowa and the filial Greek Catholic Church (most likely Grandmother's Church) was in SZLAHCINCE, today called
Szlahtyntsi. When Grandmother was born, Tarnopol District & Region were part of Eastern Galicia/Halychyna (Ruthenian/Ukrainian name for Galicia)> administered by ethnic Poles for the AUSTRO-HUNGARIAN EMPIRE.

Any immigration documents would show her as a Ruthenian, emigrating from Galicia>Austria.

LDS has these GC records available for viewing.

Do you have Grandmother's surname written in Cyrillic? You will very likely need it when researching church records. I am on a plane heading home sweet home. Will post more tomorrow.

PS>You did very well w/the variant spellings.

Marya Javorska/pronounced Yavorska = Ìàð³ÿ ßâîðñêà

Masculine version of surname, Javorskij/Javorsky = ßâîðñêèé

If you cannot view Cyrillic letters, place your cursor anywhere on this window, where it is blank. Right click on mouse once. Left click on ENCODING. Left click on Cyrillic WINDOWS.

PS>Surname transliteration variant for Grandmother's time frame could also be Jaworska/Yaworska.
