We are searching for relatives of Fedor Theodorus Mochoruk and Ilena(Melynchuk)from the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast Region of the Ukraine.
They emmigrated to Chipman,Aberta,Canada in 1899-1900.They came with thier son Wasyl(12)and daughter Maria(10).
The places that we are looking are Toporivtsi,Horodenka,Sniatyn,Kryee or surrounding areas if anyone has relatives that could help in our Quest Please contact me at blackgld8@hotmail.com or on this forum.

Both Horodenko and Snyatyn are district center towns, surrounded by many villages within those districts. I have searched for Kryee in both districts and have come up w/nothing even close.

You made mention that letters were exchanged until 1943. By some chance, are there any old letters/envelopes still hidden away in a family member's attic?
