Dear Hannia, my grandfather Morris, Mauritz Zolkwer was born on 2 december 1876 in Radiechow (maybe that is a district and not a town or village). He left for UK in May 1897. His father was called Woof Zolkwer.

There is another man, maybe a relative called Abraham who left Krystynopol about 1929.

Does is help. best wishes Sue

Krystynopol is the old name for present Chervonograd.
Radowicze is approximately 22 miles NNE of Chervonograd in the Sokal area North of Lwow... all locations were in Old Galicia at the turn of the century.
Hopefully someone can assist you with further details.
