Hi there!
Im seeking for my grandmother friend from IIWW from Volhyn,my granny familly saved him from nazist.His name was or is-Awrum(but i suposse this is in yidisch) in hebrew-Abram Kopiejko or more with russian sound Kapiejka.He was with my familly from 1943-1945,and my gr.grandmother(he called her "ciocia")last saw him in city:Korzec, he salled there paper and pencils and stuff like that.In talk with him she found that he and the others Jews wanted to go to LWów-it was in may because she remembered as St.Izidors day fest.If he still alive-he is now 66 years old. I have already checked databases with surnames and I found nothing. Please help me. Thanks. |

Have you tried posting an enquiry at Jewish Geneaology? They have many discussion groups, and you might be able to find your fried that way. While the discussion groups are for geneaology, they do have some questions like this. If your family saved Jewish people from the Nazis, they should be listed in the Righteous Gentiles.
