Question for Hania re: letters to village mayors

Hi Hania,

In your never ending efforts to help you often suggest writing to village mayors when looking for surviving family members in the Ukraine. You also suggest that we include 2 IRC's to facilitate and expedite a response.

Would it also be appropriate to include a monetary gift to the village mayor in thanks for his efforts?

Consider sending a reward to village mayor only after he has responded, indicating effort on your behalf.

You can suggest in your inquiry letter that you would be most grateful for their help.
