The suffix, ENKO, on Owdenko/Ovdienko or any transliteration variant of same, would indicate that the surname is from what is Eastern Ukraine today. At the turn of the century this would have been Southern Russia. There many people with this surname from Ukraine to Siberia, to Germany to States & Canada. Try all variants possible on link below. MetaCrawler Web Search Home Page http://www.metacrawler.com/ Do you have any documentation re immigrant/ancestor??? What is the family history re this person? |
