communism which the unfortunate peoples of the soviet union endured. go neiri on bothar leat anois...(may the road rise with you)

Question looking for my past

Hello My grandparents are from the Ukraine. They immigrateted to Canada in the early 1900s. I was told by my aunt that they were from the towns of KOZINA and ZALYKVA.
I can't seem to find these towns on the map of Ukraine. If you or anyone has heard of these towns I would really appreciate it if you could tell me if they still exist. I am trying to make a family tree and would appreciate any info.
Thank you

Hannia is on a distinguished road
Jonknee,

Set yourself up as a NEW POST using surnames!!!

What surnames are you researching and where did they settle?
Were ancestors married before immigrating?

I am making assumption that ancestors were both from same region, Ivano-Frankivsk (formerly Stanislau). Both villages look to be in the same general area, just north of Ivano Frankivsk, the region center/city.
It is also possible that Kozina was on what was the Russian Empire border @turn of century, which would put it in either Ternopilska or Khmelnytska Regions. I have found two Kozina's, that is if the actual name of village was not Kosina, because there are loads of those...

What documentation do you have so far?
