I would like to thank Hannia for her helpful suggestion -- two were completely new to me, and one may be a family member I did not know about. I appreciate the help and the time it took to gather the information to send me.

A thank you always goes a long way w/me!
There was also a Salamon & Ansel Farb that emigrated from Podhajce in 1900. Both were married and heading for New York. Was this Salamon your GGrandfather? He was in his forties in 1900. Suggest that you check ORIGINAL MANIFESTS/handwritten copy for all Farbs coming from Ternopil and see if they are also some others from Podhajce.
Using ZOOM make sure to check all pages of manifest. Stay flexible w/town transliteration. Keep in mind that the largest immigration took place 1900-1914. Ellis Island /Jewish Passengers Wild Card http://home.pacbell.net/spmorse/ellis/ellisjw.html |

Farbs
Dear Hannia, Thanks again! My best guess is that they were cousins. Salamon Farb was going to a cousin, and in one spot where it asked for final destnation, it looked like it might be Texas. Ansel was going to join a brother, but it looked like NY. My g-grandfather, Aron, would have been 32 in 1900. He came over on the Dania in 1890. I'll be doing more research on these two men. You are such a help, and I appreciate your knowledge and research. Susan Farb
