Searching for Valentine Zelenyuk

I am hoping that you will be able to assist me in finding my fiance's father. My fiance's name is Dmetri Zelenyuk. He was born in Kiev on December 6, 1974. He was the only child of Valentine and Irena Zelenyuk. They divorced when Dema was about 5. Dema and his father secretly kept in touch. Irena moved Dmetri to the United States in 1988. Valentine called him for the next couple of years and then the communication died. We believe he still lives in or near Kiev. He is about 50 years old. He did remarry before Dema left Kiev and he does have other children┘one may be called Sergey. Dema and I will be getting married this fall and we would desperately like to find Valentine. If any of you have an idea where we could start looking we would be very thankful. We would welcome phone numbers that are listed in the phone book as well. We have no idea what his profession would be. Thank you for any effort you are willing to make to help us. If you find him and feel he may be uncomfortable with us contacting him (maybe his new??? family would not understand) we will provide our address and number.
