I am looking for information about the SOUMSKY familly. My grand father, Mr SOUMSKY AndrИ emigrated in France aroud 1917. He was born in KORRP or KOROP which I was not able to locate on a map of Ukrainia (may be because it's a small town).
My grand father had a sister and a brother who emigrated in Australia at the same period.

Should you have any information about the SOUMSKY familly of the city where my grand father was born, please let me know.

How do you know that Grandfather Andre was from village/town Korop/Korp in what is Ukraine today? Notice that there are several throughout Eastern Europe, including in what is Russia today.

Was Grandfather in the military? What religion did Grandfather Andre practice? What is the family oral history? Did he go directly to France, or did he make a stop in Yugoslavia? Do you have given names for Great Uncle and Aunt that immigrated to Australia? Did they emigrate thru Siberia>China/Shanghai? Australia immigration searches can be done online.
