My grand father MAKHNOV Basile Kharithonovich is born in 1892 in Nikopol and escape in 1920 His parents was Makhnov Khariton and Ana Chernova
I looking for the son Basile MAKHNOV or now for his children, my cousins
I living in france Perhaps some body knows something about this family ???

The Mennonites were Germans that had settled mostly in Eastern Ukraine/Old Russian Empire in 18th century at the invitation of Katherine the Great. Many emigrated shortly after Revolution. Some went to France.

What religion did your Makhnov's practice?
