Surname Fryndej-Please help locate

Looking for family of Michaljo and Alexandra Fryndej (spelling may be different in Ukrainian) I have been told my father in law was from around Kiev. There are other family members there, but contact was lost when my father in law got ill and died. I would apprecite any help in locating any members.

Ukraine has a population of 50 plus million. Surname alone will do you very little good.

When was contact w/family in Ukraine lost? Was it prior or post Ukrainian Independence?

If packages were sent in the last 10 yrs, you might try locating the service that was used to send packages. They would have a record of address.

Have you checked w/social security for place of birth listed?
