Sawchyn/szyn's, Ukrainian immigrants that settled in Western Canada, and all along Eastern Seaboard of US, from Massachusetts to Pennsylvania, across to Ohio, Illinois, south to Arizona and west to California.

Type in both variants of surname - same clan - only difference is that transliteration (sounds like) done differently.

Very large clan spread over Carpathian/Galician area, Poland, and other parts of Eastern Europe!!! Progeny all over world, including Australia.

There are five Sawczyn's in Great Britain alone and that was mainly a post WW2 immigration.
