If anyone can help me with the following please get in touch.
1) My Ukranian grandfather told me that his uncle was called Antin Labaj, and that he worked closely with Stefan Bandera. However all my searches have been unsuccessful. I have read through many sites regarding Stefan Bandera with no mention of my relative. It is possible that Antin took charge after Bandera's excecution??

2) Another surname that I am looking for is Torobikha (not sure of the spelling)

Both families lived in the Kamenka-Buska District

Re Antin

Anything is possible, because most partisans operated under pseudonyms (noms de guerre).

I saw a social circle for Bandera on web, but no Labaj.

Have you E-mailed Andrew Gregorovich with this question? He has done a tremendous amt of research about this subject and he could answer the question: who took over for Bandera. Is there a list of the top guys somewhere?

Hi Hannia,
thanks once again. I guessed that there is the possibility of Antin Labaj using a false name. However, I have emailed Andrew and i am waiting for a reply.

Regarding the Torobikha surname, my grandfather seems to think this was his mother's surname (Òîðîáàõà)before she was married

Re Torobotka

You know that the answer lies in an archival inquiry and then a follow-up letter to village mayor.

Unfortunately most of that world is still pretty much non-digitized.

PS> Grandfather must be very proud of you.
