Another Translation if possible
This one is going to be difficult. There is handwriting on top of the photograph. Can anyone make out what it says? (I think I'm going to have to learn both German and Russian--and Ukrainian!) Thank you.

Hey Sandra, I've saved this photo and fiddled with it in a program, and whether this is entirely accurate or not we could debate that for sure, letters are as follows left to right:
B - D - B - R - ? - P - N - M - H - O - T - H The potential "D" looks to have little tails after the slants meet, like a little fish almost if you look closely. Also the "?" looks like it may be a "P" also, or perhaps a very funny shaped "Y" as I cannot see the top to tell if the lines come together or whether they stay apart. Not sure what this means or if it helps, but that's what it looks like to me. All the best trying to figure this one out! Stephen |

Something tells me a child was practicing their letters. This family stayed in Russia, but they were of German ancestry with relatives in America. The family name is Murschel, and the woman was a Kilber/Kilper.
Thank you for taking the time to study it. . Sandra |
