Thank you, Igor! Now we know where the family was living. I have several photographs of the families of the chidren of Jacob Kilber and Christine Guenthner, who stayed in Crimea when most of the rest of the Kilber and Guenthner families left for America. We didn't know where they had been living. Now, if only we could know their fate.

Try searching LDS microfilms - there is a wealth of information there. You have the city, or town so do a search and you will be surprised what you get. Order the films and have them sent to your local library and search. You can cut and paste
into google translator if you are not sure of the words. Happy hunting.

Thank you both. I found what I needed. We've been trying to map out where all the family lived, and by getting the translation, we know that they all stayed within the region of Feodosia. And I've not had much luck on Family Search, actually. I do better with odessa3.org, and Black Sea Germans. I am to the point, though, where I'm going to have to start hitting the microfilm. I am not looking forward to it.
