Szkwarek from Yaseniv-Pilnyi

Looking for connections to my grand-parents Szkwarok, from Yaseniv-Pilnyi. My grandfather left for Canada in 1906 and my grandmother and uncle Nikolas in 1912. I believe my grand-mother's maiden name was Karpuk.

There are still many Szkwarok/Shkvarok (Шкварок) individuals living in the village of Yaseniv-Piil'nyi (Ясенів-Пільний), with a population of 3000.

The village Yaseniv Pilnyj is in Horodenka district Ivano-Frankivsk region.
Yaseniv Pilnyj very beautiful, picturesque and prosperous village.
Last year I conducted research on family Abramyk in Yaseniv Pilnyj. The customer lives in Canada. Some descendants of families Abramyk now have the surname Shkvarok and live in Yaseniv Pilnyj. Maybe they are also your relatives?
Of course, you need to hold detailed genealogical research.

If also from Yaseniv-Piil'nyi, your Karpuk could be Karpiak (Карпяк). There are a few Karpiak's in Yaseniv-Piil'nyi.

I have ordered the files from LDS, will see what happens with my limited ability to read Latin and Ukrainian!
Am traveling to the Ukraine in May to the village to find out what I can and meet any possible relatives then.

Jaseniv Pilnyy big village. Independently family will probably find difficult. I advise you to hire a researcher on the eve of a trip. Let it find your relatives. You only visit them during a visit to the village.
