Smile Pochoma ÐÏÞoÍÁ Jewish Cossacks

Does anyone have any info on Cossacks of Jewish or mixed Jewish/Ukrainian background?

The ÐÏÞoÍÁ family of the 1800's was one of them , i am trying to research more about them.

Yakov ÐÏÞoÍÁ was my ggrandfather. ..

Is Pochoma a location or name? I'm just curious as the name of a village with similar spelling was translated from my Grandfathers letter.
