Stefan Mojsej from the village of Russicsh Banilla
Seeking info about Grandfather Stefan Mojsej from the village of Russicsh Banilla.
Grandfather immigrated from the above village 31 July 1898. Grandmother's maiden name was Vasylene Kuzz. One of Grandfather's Daughters did not travel with Grandfather to Canada via New York and I am trying to find info about my Missing Aunt Irene 31 Jan 1878 and is recorded in the Chernivitsi Archives Any info about the Mojsej Family is welcomed Eugene A Moisey Sr |

Russish Banilya, Banilov, Russkiy Banilov, Banyliv.
There is still a few Moisei's (Мойсей) living in Banyli, a population of 4000. Listed, is an Anna Moisei, born 1922. If she is still living, she may be able to answer your question. Here is an address for Moisei Tanasi, son of Ivan (John), born 1940. He may get some answers for you, from Anna. Мойсей Танасий ╤ванович Банил╕в село Вижницький район Черн╕вецька область Укра╖на 59216 Ukraine Kuzz is more than likely Kuz. There is a Kuz Aleksandr, son of Tanas, born 1973, Chernivtsi. Appears as though he may be the only Kuz in the Chernivtsi area (?). |

Re:Mojsej(Moisey)
Greetings from Colorado USA
Way back you listed info about the Mojsej(Moisey) of Banilla de Chos now BANYLIV. I have data and info about Alexa(my Father), Stefan(grandfather) and Tanasy(great-great granfather). I believe GGGF was born 1811. I have no more data and info as to who are GGGF Mother and Father. Would it be Ivan or Marco? Welcome any data and info about my Family Tree. Sincerely Eugene A Moisey Sr Last edited by emoisey@q.com; 15th December 2011 at 17:36. Reason: grammer |
