Looking for the family of Dmytro MARCENIUK of Pine River Manitoba. Came to Canada originally in 1903 from Kryvche, Borschiw Galicia.

I am looking for information on a John (Osafat)Marcyniuk (My grandfather) Born 1896 in Galicia, and his brother, Arteus (born about 1879).....I know they immigrated to Canada, but I am trying to find more about the lineage......As for Dymytro, I do have some information on him if you would like to contact me also.

Once there were two villages - Kryvche Verchnie and Kryvche Nyzhnie. Now they are united in Kryvche.

Ternopil archive: Birt 1877, 1879-1889, 1891, 1894-1897, 1900, 1904

KRYVCHE NYZHNIE (Krzywcze Dolne):

Greek Catholic: Birth 1904-1944, Marriage 1906-1944, Death 1911-1940.
Roman Catholic: Birth 1900-1944, Marriage 1874-1943.
Lviv archive:
Roman Catholic: birth, marriage and death for years 1816-1865
Warsaw archive:
Roman catholic: Birth 1819-1892, Marriage 1847, Death 1847.
Jevish: Birth 1830-1876, Death 1818-1876.

I have some photocopies of books. Unfortunately, the record reveal about the birth of John (Osafat) or Arteus impossible. The only book of this period - is the birth Kryvche Verchnie, which is in the Ternopil Archives. Unfortunately, documents 1879 and 1896 are missing.
As parents were called John (Osafat) or Arteus?
There were other brothers or sisters?

Thank you! It is possible I am wrong, about where they were born. I am only going from what I have heard through other family members. I sent private email to you, though I had to do it through this website, as for some reason I could not email you directly....
