Ukrainian Roots
Argentinian Foreign Minister, Hector Timmerman, was visiting Kyiv the other day, and during a meeting with Ukrainian Prime-Minister told him about his Ukrainian Roots. Ukraine's Ministry for Foreign Affairs was immediately charged with a task to trace Timmerman's family tree and find his relatives! We shall see how they succeed in completing this task!
His ancestors emigrated to Argentina in the late 19th/early 20th c from the Vinnytsia area.
