I know станицы means village. I believe this village is in the Luhansk area. Any information on this village would be appreciated.

Stanitsa is a Cossack village. Cossack Army occupied a large area covering a part of today's Donetsk and Luhansk regions in Ukraine, together with several Russian regions.
Check the stanitsa name please
