I didnt even start the Suszko side which is my mothers father !!! Think he came from Austria no name of town available..as of yet. Hi Lisa My friend had relatives named Suszko. They came from a small village near Sanok called Cystohorb (spelling varies). They ended up in the Pittsburgh area. If you think that there is a family connection with this group, please let me know. I can give you 2 FHC film numbers for that village. I also believe that Suszko is a Lemko surname. Good Luck Tempo |

If you are referring to the Austro-Hungarian military, very little is available for non-officers. What you can find out is what division he was might have been in, based on what division did its conscription in his district center.
The Vienna Military Archives claims they returned all muster and wounded soldier rolls to appropriate countries, but no one seems to know where they are. ______________________________________ http://feefhs.org/journal/9/blodgett2.pdf _______________________________________ Austrian Military Recruitment in Galicia

Svoboda gave the lists of all those wounded and killed in A-H army.
I have so far found all for whom I was looking in their lists - about 10 persons, but I can't see CHUCHAK there. Or who was wounded? Chuchak? Their site is Свобода - газета української громади в Америці |
