Looking for info on the Landega family (Dmetro)

My name is Sharlene Landygo Garlinski and I am looking for information on my Grandfather Dmetro Landega. He was born in Okno, bukowina Romania. He was born may 28th 1907 or 1910. He came to Canada on April 7, 1928 with a Simion Landega. I am looking for any family or information that can help me put together this puzzle. Listed on the passanger manifast it states that his mother was Wasilina and Father was Nicolaj.
Please help as I am trying to put together a family history tree together and have no info on my grandfathers family

Where are you located? I know there is one in Brandon and also Winnipeg in MB. Since records go to 1924 and your family left in 1928, you should be able to untangle the family relationships.

I think Simon may be his twin. I am trying to find birth records anything. his past was never talked about an with the ill health of my uncle who knew a little I am tring to get everything I can to finally give him answers.
