Unfortunately, the website limits the size of attachments, currently set at 100 KB each. That's why I cropped out alot of it in the first set of attachments in order to focus on the section of interest to me. Irene had asked to see the whole page, which I'm more than happy to share, but alas the quality suffers as a result .
Irene: if you would like to see the entire document, I can e-mail it to you privately. The quality is much better. Ponich: You're doing the right thing. I think it's preferable to only include the information relevant to your search, due to the size limit for attachments. We appear to be encountering the same challenges in our search (i.e.: documents in Ukrainian, Romanian, etc.). I'm going to reply to your thread re: "Ponich from Torporoutzi" momentarily. Cheers to all! Richard |

Hello Richard,
regarding attachments, a lot of my maps presented on the forum in JPEG format are much larger than the quoted 100kb. Yet they do go through, reduced to this fatal 100kb by the system itself. It seems that the system has some sort of inbuilt compression process. I suggest you try again, certainly in JPEG format, and see if it works. Paul |

Thanks for the suggestion, Paul. I've tried a number of times, but the system always compresses the files to a max. of ~ 100 KB regardless of the size of the source. Of course, it doesn't help that my files are probably 2nd, 3rd or 4th generation scans of scans, thus reducing the quality. In any event, I'm always happy to share via private email.
