They called me - I thought news about Bala - no they are very anxious to find their rels in the USA
They said Ksenia came back here - but as her husband did not send any money to her - she returned to the USA and passed away there aged 104. Her husband's name was Pylypyshyn and she had 2 daughters. Probably her obituary can be found - she was born in 1890/1895 - it means she died in 1994/1999 |

Irene,
Beyond immigration I cannot find any death records for her. Normally if someone lives that long, newspapers carry that obit as news. Will try again later. There is only one other place and that is Passports???

Hannia, no news about Ksenia in the USA??
After an announcement in the church about the BALA family, Maria, daughter of Stefania Namasna, produced the same photo as I had left in the village saying she is related to this family - and that once someone came from Canada to the village and she gave them embroidered towels. |

Nada, nada, nada, my Friend. I did get some call backs, but they were Hungarian descendants. I have been checking the border crossings, but nothing yet. There are Gardas in Pennsylvania, but way to many to conduct a reasonable search. I checked the death records. Either I am not getting the surname spelling right or Ksenia never had a social security card. I am going to step away from this for a few days and then return to it. It is very frustrating. I wish I had better news for you
