Hi Hannia. Yes I have started a new thread. The latest info I have is that I could have relatives in the city of Mykolaiv, which is just down the road from Brodki. Your suggestion was spot on.
Ken, if your Grandfather came from Peremyliv, then our ancestors were not near each other, but anything could have happened. A DNA test could find out! So the search goes on to find the ancestery of Stefan Perejma born in the Lviv region 12/1/17. This thread will be updated when new information is discovered. Any comments are welcome.

Stepan Derzhylo and his son Myron, live in Mykolaiv, together with quite a number of Perejma people.
It will be easier to start with Derzhylo!

Irene, I made contact once with Derzhylo about 15 years ago but contact was broken and the search ended. I only just started again after discovering Kenš thread while "Googling". It would be helpful if there was some sort of authority in Mykolaiv I could communicate with, but then there is the language problem. Thanks for your reply.
