I have a little more information. My fathers family were farmers and he also had a step brother, name unknown and no recollection of whether his mother or father had died for one of them to remarry.Back in the early sixties my Father had a visit from a friend Wasyl ? who lived in Rochester Munroe New York who died in 1995. This is all quite fragmented but it may jog a memory!!

Hi the name on the document is definately Biduta.I have no idea what happened to my fathers parents or whether they themselves would have been in forced labour.

It must be BIDULA then - you have probably mistaken the Polish letter Ł for t.
There are still Bidula people in Berbiv.
