In fact I have been through films 766098 and 2352176-- and had found a little bit of information.

I think I'll order film 2101053 to see if anything is tucked away in there.

I'm currently working with Ihor on something else and when that is finished I'll approach him on seeing if the church in Staromischyna is still standing and whether there is any possibility some records might be found there.

Hi Hannia -

yes - several years ago - hard to read in a couple of places.

It seems that my family knew the Solowski family as I have a letter (1936) advising my mother the date that the Solowskis were leaving for Canada and that they were carrying some hand made gifts from my family to us.

As well the Solowskis initially stayed with my cousin's family in Toronto until they found their own place.
