So sorry, I don't know why I assumed that you understood French.

Dear Kier!
Information on family learn from the best metric books. Metric books village Hudyiivtsi little:
Borschiv Registry Office:
Greek Catholic: Birth 1899-1944, Death 1872-1944.
Ternopil archive:
Greek Catholic: Birth 1872-1899.
Lviv archive:
Roman Catholic: birth, marriage and death for years 1816-1865

I live in Lviv (Ukraine). There is often in Ternopil archive and Borschiv registry office.
If necessary, can examine the books and find information about your family.
You can also visit the village and try to find a family.

I note that I have many years studying history Borschiv district. Last Mizyuk in Hudyivtsi very widespread. People (Mizyuk) were active in public life of the village - took part in cultural and educational organizations in the fight against the Ukrainian Insurgent Army, etc.

Genealogical information best search in metric book. For the village Hudyyivtsi (Borschiv district) they had. They are:
Borschiv Registry Office:
Greek Catholic: Birth 1899-1944, Death 1872-1944.
Ternopil archive:
Greek Catholic: Birth 1872-1899 (Mormons have a photocopy of the book).
Lviv archive:
Roman Catholic: birth, marriage and death for years 1816-1865

I also was born in Borschiv district. I live in Lviv. If you need to study these books can also visit the village, take photographs, find a family (if possible) and so on.
Family Mizyuk in Hudyyivtsi was patriotic. In 1933 many Mizyuk opposed the introduction of school education in Polish. Took part in cultural and educational organizations. They also participated in the underground struggle against the Bolsheviks ...
