The Jewish materials for Kamien Koszynrski in Zhytomir are in the form of census records. IT IS NOT METRYKAL DATA, so the research is complicated. That is why I suggest you wait for a native researcher, well versed in locating Jewish records.

It's summer time and normally vacation time. Even when they come back, there is a backlog of work. Unless it is an easy search, normal turn around time can take as long as three months. Census records are not an easy search. This is the reason I suggested a native researcher specializing in Jewish Genealogy, who is still busy and will probably be getting back to me in the next few weeks.

I will be making a general announcement as soon as I hear from the Zhytomir Researcher.

The only advice I can continue to offer is HAVE PATIENCE.

If you go back to the very beginning of this forum, you will see how limited information was just 10 yrs ago. There was hardly anything available. Today the situation has improved and your chances of locating your family's documentation has improved, if only some.

Basia has written to the Polish Archives. She was kind to include your inquiry w/ hers. Hopefully there will be something positive forthcoming from there.
