In several places it says favrago/favago - may = occupation, lumberjack/woodcutter

In Zakarpatska Ukraine the population is a little less than 2% German, so I had no particular expectation when running your surnames thru the web.

Found two. There is a woman in Kyiv, working for the central govt. Olena Zirnzak, daughter of Stepan, is the Asst Director of Economic Trade Cooperation. There is also a parquet manufacturing specialist Ivan (John = Janos) Zirnzak in Mukachevo. He had recently participated in demonstration to high school students of skill sets necessary for the sophisticated end of the lumber business.
