Regarding Kuriantsi. I kind of like it better, but this is quite subjective at the moment. It was called Kurijaniec before (see 1915 map). I like it because it is not far from where Apolinary's sister Maria was born (in 1862 at Pohrebyszcze) and not too far from where my grandmother Stanislawa was born (in 1897 at Koziatyn) - see map for these 3 localities. Perhaps there is something important for our family in that general area.

I guess Basia and I will need to find another document with his birthplace, perhaps it will be easier to understand where it was. Cheers,
