Tina,
It was your love for Grandfather and all your effort that has made all this happen. Don't be put off that he did not reveal his pain to you. He just didn't want to burden his family w/that pain.

Hi Hannia and friends
Whilst I am waiting to hear from ITS Bad Orelson does anyone have any idea if my fathers surname (Tyckyj) is common to a particular part of Ukraine as I have no idea which village or town or county he came from. I have heard the word Ruthenian used several times now what does it actually mean. I look forward to someone replying to my e mail. Kind regards Anna |

At the top of every page on this forum is a search box with the words "search our site". If you type in the word Ruthenian you will get page after page of responses for your question. Hannia has several amongst the many. Tempo |
