Ehhh, I don't like humid! Was it hot too? Hot and humid is probably the worst combination. I don't mind cold and humid though, especially if you're near the ocean/sea and there are fog horns going off for ships! That is kind of cozy, even if it's cold, since you can wear a nice jacket! Has the weather changed since we last spoke? It's been incredibly hot here.

Just tonight I found some additional details about Moische (Moses) MARGULIS and Leie (Lena) MARGULIS, that would likely help in the search for records.

According to this application for citizenship for the USA (- Ancestry.com

Moische (Moses) was born on 30 December 1866 in Zitomir, Russia (Zhytomir, Ukraine)
Leie (Lena) was born on 6 May 1864 in Radamisla, Russia (Radomysl', Zhytomir, Ukraine)
They were married in June 1888 in Zitomir, Russia (Zitomir, Zhytomir, Ukraine)

Of course, they misspelled Zitomir as Zitomiv, but Zitomir was misspelled everywhere. Their children's birth dates are also listed in the document, and all were born in Russia (in Zitomir too I'm pretty sure, but not positive). Would love to find their records after Moische and Leie.

Hi Hannia,

Just checking in to see if you found anything. You mentioned that you'd wait a week and then find someone else who might have something. Any news?

Hope everything is well. How's the weather panning out now?

Warmest,
Kevin

Kevin,

Are you still interested?

Finally got a response back from Zhytomir:

Dear Hannia,
Sorry it takes long to time to straighten things here. We finally have a man who
is willing to do the researches in the archives. If you are still interested, I
will contact you with him.
Best regards,
alex
