I am quite a "freshmen" on this site, but I am a vivid reader of all genealogy entries. So many times name Ruth was mentioned.
I am sorry to hear about Ruth's daughter, my deepest sympathy to her and her family.

Dear Hannia and forum friends,

We have returned home after a difficult week in Edmonton. Our daughter, Milo Jackson, died in her sleep on May 6, 2010 of a pulmonary embollism at the age of 43. She was a single Mom and left 2 children, Jeffrey age 22 and Jessica age 17. We are all devastated and are trying to pull together as a family to support Jessica in her last year of high school and Jeffery who is about to graduate from the University of Waterloo and begin his first full-time job at Facebook in California. The funeral service was a beautiful tribute to Milo and the church was filled with many friends family and colleagues. We have had so many messages of condolence, but few touched me as deeply as those posted here from people I've never met, and certainly never knew my daughter.

I thank you all from the bottom of my heart and appreciate your reaching out to me and my family at this time of immense sadness.
My best to all of you,
Ruth
