Petr I Poltava cadet corps
Petr I Poltava cadet corps - existed from 1840 till revolution, then reformed in Serbia. Although children from all over Russia came to Poltava cadet corps, most of them were locals. After immigration/exodus members ended up all over Europe, America and even Africa - initially mostly in Serbia, later in France, Germany, USA, Belgium, England, Argentine, Uruguay, etc.

Ruth,
Thank you, but the surname is not listed. Somewhere along the way I vaguely remember that her Grandfather came from a long line of Cossacks. His uniform and medals, establishing his origin and military travels, were identified by an expert source that Dr. Volodya found. |
