Hi Pat,
I believe my father has some names/dates/villages, so that might be helpful. I'll post that info when I receive it. The ship's manifest for Anna and children lists the family as Ruthenian, but it appears that Anna might be marked as Hebrew. I think it might actually be for the passenger ahead of her on the list, but it's hard to tell. I've seen references to Towmacz in several books and articles, but I'm not sure where it is, or what the contemporary spelling might be. Steve |

Apparently, Towmacz might actually be Tlumach, Tl~umacz, Tlumacz. It's a small city and administrative center for that area.
