For Szerszeniowce , filial GC Parish was in Oleksince*** and filial RC Parish was in Lisowce.

***Lenius' Gazetteer shows there was possibly a second parish to which part of community belonged, but does not indicate where.

Thank you, Hannia and IreneLviv. I am helping one of my Ukrainian five pin bowlers that is on my team. Her family immigrated to Canada as Greek Catholic (Ukrainian). Actually, I have been to Jezierzany (Ozeriany), and have photo's of the Roman Catholic Church. Recently renovated, as it was previously used for storage. Beautiful exterior!! A kind lady that had keys to enter, gave my husband and I a tour of the church. Thanks again!

Sylvia,

Merry Christmas and may the New Year bring you closure to your search for your uncle. All the best to you and your spouse and traveling companion ! Thank you for all the Ukrainian towns you have visited and all the telephone books that you have managed to acquire. That effort has brought many relatives together again.

I am looking for the family name Shpytkovska Dotcha(?) ûðéôëï÷óøëá . Married to Teodor Woloshchuk in Shyshkivtsi. She gave birth to three children, Dora (1921/10/18), Alexander and Paul (1923/10/26). All we have on her, is that she may have passed away in 1936. The children immigrated to Canada in 1939.

Hannia, is there some way I can automatically receive replies to my email address?
