Question Pawlik family search

I am a descendant of the Pawlik family. I have been searching out family information on Pawliks. Here is what I know. My grandmother was Sylwestra Pawlik, born in Nyrkow, Poland, now Ukraine.

Piotr Pawlik was my great grandfather. He was the son of Michal Pawlik and Katarzyna Fatkowicz. Piotr had a brother named Michal Pawlik, who was married to Rosalia Wievrbicka (?) Piotr had a sister named Anna Pawlik, who married Joannes Jachymczuk (?).

Piotr married Joanna Dabrowska and they had a daughter Felisa (Theophilia) Pawlik on 14. January 1891 in Nyrkow. Joanna later died, and Piotr married again, to Barbara Wilowska(i), who is my great grandmother. They had four other children. My grandmother Sylwestra Pawlik born 1. January 1896 in Nyrkow, Marcela Pawlik born 16. October 1901 Nyrkow, Kasia Pawlik born 25. November 1904 Nyrkow, and Michal Pawlik born 12. August 1908 Nyrkow.

My grandmothers sister Felisa Pawlik emigrated to America in 1910, and my grandmother Sylwestra Pawlik emigrated to America in 1914.

There were many other Pawlik descendants, but I do not know where they ended up.
Josephus Pawlik born 6. July 1878 Nyrkow, Thaddaeus Pawlik born 3. November 1881, Nyrkow, Joanna Pawlik born 24. November 1884 Nyrkow, Cunegundes Pawlik born 9. November 1889 Nyrkow. They are the children of Michal Pawlik and Rosalia Wievrbicka(?)

There also is Thomas Jachymczuk (?) born 19. September 1878 Nyrkow, Agnes Jachymczuk born 24. April 1880, Nyrkow, Maria Jachymczuk born 8. December ?, Nyrkow, Stephanus Jachymczuk born 3. August 1885 Nyrkow, and Petrus Jachymczuk, born 19. May 1893 in Nyrkow. They are the children of Joannes Jachymczuk and Anna Pawlik.

I am looking for birth records, marriage records and death records of these family members. Perhaps someone can help me locate them?

***Also, I am interested in knowing if the Roman Catholic cemetery in the area of Nyrkow is still in existance? This is where my great grandfather Piotr Pawlik, his first wife Joannes Dabrowska Pawlik, and his second wife Barbara Wilowska Pawlik were buried. I would like to have a picture of the cemetery, and if possible, a photo of their graves, if they still exist and can be found. Is there anyone in the area that would be willing to do this for me?

I have traced the decendants of Piotr Pawliks children to Lubsza, Poland, and have been in contact with them. I am very happy for this.

Other family names I am in search of is Pacocha and Sobolak.

My grandfather was Jan Sobolak, from Raczkowa, Sanok Poland, and Jan Pacocha and Katarzyna (?) Pacocha, from the area of Dembica / Debicy, Brzeznica, Galicia, Poland. Any help of Pacocha family would be GREATLY appreciated, since I can not seem to find anything on them. Jan and Katarzyna Pacocha had a daughter Maryanna Pacocha in the year 1890 and a son Wawrzyniec (Lawrence) Pacocha on 6. August or 6 September 1891. I do not know anything else about my family of Pacocha's.

Thank you for any help you can give to me.

Sincerely,
Marilyn Kapke Mikel

Nyrkiv is on a distinguished road
We have only one family Pawlyuk in Nyrkiv, Anastasia came from Poland during opeartion Wisla, when all ukrainians (Lemko, Rusyn) were forsed to move to Ukraine and married Vasyl Pawlyuk who was born in nyrkiv, they had 3 sons, older one is pasted away, then Bogdan was born in 1958 and Mykhaylo was born in 1962. Mykhaylo still lives with his mother Anastasia in Nyrkiv. Bogdan lives 40 miles away. The best way to contact them - send a letter:

Mykhaylo Vasylyovych Pawlyuk

There are two part of cementery in Nyrkiv, old one and new one. It is hard to find somebody on old one since nobody to care any more for years that part.

Some picture of old castle near Nyrkiv called Chervonogrud you can see here:

Smile Pawlik family Nyrkow

Thank you for the link to the Castle and Mosoleum remains. My grandmother possibly lived for a short period of time in the convent there, after the death of her mother Barbara, near the Castle. I am very interested in seeing the remains of the convent and saddened by the terrible history that is connected to it. This was where my Pawlik family came from. The descendants of my great grandfather and great grandmother Piotr Pawlik and his wife Barbara Wilowski Pawlik, were forcably relocated to another part of Poland during WWII, and are living in Lubsza, Poland. Piotr Pawlik was married to Joanna Dabrowska, and they had a daughter Felisa Pawlik born 14. January 1891 in Nyrkow. Sometime later, Joanna died and Piotr married again. He married Barbara Wilowski, and they had four children (Sylwestra, Marcela, Michal and Kasia / Katarzyn Pawlik). Piotr Pawlik also had a brother Michal and a sister Anna, and they all had their children while living in Nyrkow, in the late 1870's through 1890's. Piotr's fathers name was also Michal and his mother was Catherine / Katarzyna Fatkowicz (?) I am very interested in knowing where my Pawlik family is buried. They were Roman Catholic. I would love to see a photo of the cemetery and the church.

Thank you for your response.

Marilyn
