Hey thanks you guys,

Hannia like i had stated I understand names were spelled differently. Just something seemed off about them, even before I tried looking for the names and came up short. I was just looking for either a more common way or different ways that they could be spelled so that it might help me better in my searching as for some of them I do have mostly day and year of their death, and for a few the birthdays. So how many people there are in Ukraine today really isn't too relevant to the question I asked.

Fortunately I found out my dads sister did a family tree, don't know how far she got into it but I guess one of his cousins did one as well, so I could most definitely get info from them but that's only for the Yaremchuk lineage.

Do you have any tips on how I could get this information you suggest I get? I don't really have anyone I can get it from, My dad's mother is kinda senile, she wouldn't have a clue, my moms dad never cared to know and his mother about 10 days away from being 102 I'm sure wouldn't remember and even if she did you really can't understand what she's saying.

I think we all understand that you are asking for viable transliteration variants for your surnames, but that will not necessarily get you the results you want. There are at least 12 different transliteration standards and then there is also the ear of the original hearer/recording clerk. Your surnames could have been recorded completely off center ???

As per my original suggestion, if you have the given names for your listed surnames and appx time frame for immigrant ancestor immigration, zarjacks (Ruth) will have something more viable to work with, but providing that info is up to you.

Alright thanks, hopefully I can find it, like i said i don't really have anyone i can just ask. But I'm definitely going to try and get that info one way or another.
