Searching for relatives, Piwen & Sawosz volyn

Hello
I am looking for any relatives I may have in the North West region of Ukraine. I have two grown up children and with all my family in the Ukraine I want them to know more about their background and get in touch with them. Both my parents died in their early fities.
My mother Nadia Sawosz born 1st march 1925 Kizi, Volyn county. My father Alexender Piwen 4th September 1925 Krypsz, near Shatsk, according to some papers I have. They came to the UK as refugees after the war.
I had a letter from a cousin translated last year. It was from Nina Sawosz (savash) last address Kapacb, Byu Zabogcbka 27/19, u Kobelb 45007, Volynska oblast, ( spelt as best I can using the English alphabet). She lived in Horodno village near Kizya. She was married to my mothers brother Myhaylo and has four daughters, Halya, Nadya, Zhenya and Olga. My grandmothers name was Onotania and grandfathers was Fedosiy, they had six sons: Bartysh, Vasyl, Maksym, Myhalo, Volodya and Yosef and three daughters Hanna, Maria and Nadya.
My fathers father was called Trofim Piwen, he also came from a large family but I have little other information. In his papers I found a little card which is a permit for AUSWEIS No 17 giving permission to enter ALTES LAGER for the purpose of work and an identity card stating he was in Stuttgart on the 18th March 1947.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

So you have the name and address - why cant you write or phone to her?
Her name is NINA KARAS
She has probably changed her address and moved from 27/19 Zavodska Street in Kovel
Have you tried to write her to this old address?
I have it listed in Sahaidachny St

I have written to her a couple of times at the address I had but no reply so I wondered whether something had happened. I also visited Kovel two years ago and went to the address (an apartment) by taxi but there was no-one in so I left a message on the door. I will write again to both addresses. Can you scan the envelope and post it?
I understand herh present name is KARAS but I may be wrong.
I have acquaintances living in Kovel - I will ask them to help find her.

Hello Irene
I have scanned the address. I have also noticed that the name on the envelope is not the same as the one on the letter. The envelope has the name Karas but the letter has Nina Savosh. Please could you ask your friend in Kovel where we could stay. We stayed in a hotel last time and would prefer to self cater next time and hire an interpreter to get around. Do you think this would be possible. Thanks again for you help. Maria

Daughter of PETRO KARAS. Is PETRO KARAS Nina's husband and Oksana is her daugher?
I will contact my acqs in Kovel next week - when are you going to come if they find NINa?
