Birth Certificates Lviv OPEN??

Please advise if the Archives are open at Lviv wherein we can purse a Birth Certificate... Thanks vouri

State Archives have nothing to do with Birth Certificates
THey are issued by Registry Offices belonging to the Ministry of Justice
or old records can be found in the Historical Archives

Thanks for replies....... I was aware of the fact that it is the "Historical Archives" that have copies of the Birth Certificates.... it is quite a task to get one.\\


I would like to know what information is contained thereto on the certificate???? i.e. Name of Person.... Parents.... village...or town.... ... Please advise....... Thanks again .... vouri

The register will provide you w/info for three generations, including their occupation, and village names.
