Oh yes...I did visit this museum several years ago! I have heard about this controversy. To be honest, I agree that the regalia should stay in the United States, but perhaps in a larger museum, such as in Washington DC or NYC. It is true that the Cossack village is very small and I don't think very many people even know that it exists!

My friends...you won't believe this, but I have recently found Galina's obituary online. According to the date, she passed shortly after I contacted her. I feel SO bad! I wonder what happened? The obituary doesn't say. Well, this explains why I never heard from her after the initial email...

After reading the obituary, I just felt compelled to report it here to the forum...
