villages Kasperivtsi (Kasperowce) and Vovkivtsi (Wolkowce)
Dana,
Returnees are always welcome here. Why did you lock your post? I was ready to provide you w/resources for your Kasperivtsi > Zaleschyki > Ternopil and your Vovkivtsi > Borschiv > Ternopil research, including village histories, and all of a sudden you're gone. |

Kasperivtsi
Hannia:
I am also interested in the village of Kasperivtsi as my Dad emigrated from there in 1928. In 1984 I visited the village with him and my mother. I found these panoramic photos of the village in his things when he died in 2000. I think it is the view of the village looking north or northeast. I hope this works as an attachment. Ruth |

Kasperowce
Thanks for the sharing the photos Ruth. My grandfather left Ukraine in 1930 and his sister in 1927. My great grandmother (surname Petrowski, but now sure if that is correct spelling) was from that village. My father told me she would go back to Kasperowce to have her babies. That is where my grandfather was born. :O) I have also seen the village name as being Kasperow/Kasperowic/Kasperivtsi
