I am still plodding along looking for Manchulenko. I was wondering if anyone knows, is it a rare name in Ukraine? When I have searched such places as Ancestry and other sites I come up with a blank. Any help is appreciated.

Hello Joyce,

There are at least 135 Manchulenko+ currently listed in Chernivtsi and the general Northern Bukovina Region.

Ancestry.com (SEARCH on very top of HOME PAGE) has 324 references to Manchulenko surname,
19 of which immigrated to US via Canada using Detroit Border Crossing, 4 came via Canada, using St. Albans (VT)
Border Crossing and another 6 were listed as immigrating via the UK, before going on to Quebec & Montreal and NY.
