I have two great-aunts who emigrated to the U.S.A. Any idea what the best way of tracking them would be? I only know what state each of them emigrated to and an approximate timeframe. They would have passed on by now, however, I am wondering if I can find any other relatives. Any suggestion would be appreciated in terms of finding the right authorities to contact by email (NJ and PA). Many thanks.

Please provide full names and states of immigration???

Most coming settling in NJ used Ellis Island. Entry port for PA was mainly Baltimore and Philadelphia, w/some using Ellis Island.

Thanks kindly for your response. I appreciate your help. One of my great-aunts was Olena (Helene) Koszudej nee Dublanin. I have one letter states that she emigrated from Galicia to Raven Run, Pennsylvania between 1910-1920. I could not find a record of her on the Elllis Island site. My other great aunt was named Anna Flis nee Dublanin and emigrated to New Jersey around the same time. I cannot find any record either but know that she had a daughter (Mary Felice Yurchuck) who died in Pennsylvania in 1999. Any help, as always, would be immensely appreciated.

I think I just found a descendant of my great-aunt named Rose Marie F Gunther (married, I guess) who was born in 1940 and died in 2000. Ancestry.com shows that they have information about this person, however, as I am not a subscriber, I cannot see the kind of information they provide. I realize this is asking a lot, but before I commit to 12.95 a month (I have bad experiences with online subscriptions and the seeming impossibility of cancelling them), I would love to see the information they provide. If this is too much to ask, I certainly understand. If you can help out that would be appreciated too. Thanks kindly.
