Do you know in what region it is? There are a few villages with that name.

Renee,

Best resource for researching Vohlynien Germans.
Society for German Genealogy in Eastern Europe
Databases

EWZ Files can be very useful.
During WW2 evacuation, Germans had to prove their German lineage.
They filled out personal questionnaires, which included several generations.

Hello Renee,

How are you?

Did you ever become a member at SGGEE ? I visited the site a few weeks ago. The work there is very impressive.
They are the people in the know re Germans in Vohlyn Genealogy. They currently have a half million membership and have
transcribed records not readily available anywhere.

Hello

Yes, I did become a member and did search through it all - did just make a recent contact via Facebook (or I should say, he found me) that is now giving me copies of scans - that include the Knull line. BUT...any additional information is always appreciated. Thanks
